Barbara Peterson from FarmWars.info is well informed on agriculture issues. This should be a real treat.
Klamath Basin Water Wars and Jefferson State
Join Dave Hodges and myself this Sunday as we talk about the Klamath Basin water theft issue, Agenda 21, and the proposed new state of Jefferson carved out of a piece of both Northern California and Southern Oregon, which just so happens to be the area affected by the proposed removal of the Klamath River dams.
This area is the testing grounds for a systematic Agenda 21 takeover, and the people who live here are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
If you are from the area that is being affected by these issues, please call in and let us know what is going on in your neck of the woods.

News on Dam Removals
For those of you tracking information on the Klamath River - a video on the agenda of dam removal. In addition, a discussion on the potential coming battles. It looks like this issue is being pushed to the forefront - another means for dividing people rather than uniting them.
It seems to me that if they pull the existing dams, they will have an unbelievable silt problem for years, as all the fine particulate behind the dam will cover every little bug hole in the river. No bugs, no food, no fish. Plus, there is a lot of land and the current system is a compromise between many players. Local environments are local decisions - perhaps the feds need to be invited to leave.

Open Letter to the Editors and the People,
"The
Sovereignty Seed Company" is part of my on-going personal effort to
expose through art and writing the dangers of GMOs, unmitigated climate
change, and lack of jobs and alternative energy development. It is a
small business I started as a conceptual art happening that could become
the core of a boycott to encourage consumers to stop buying all seeds
produced by Monsanto, Syngenta and their subsidiaries and alert Jackson
County voters to the dire need to ban GMOs.
It is towards that purpose the Chamber of Commons is growing our national platform from the cradle of the beautiful Rogue Valley. Please friend Champions of the Commons on Facebook and consider becoming a member of the Chamber of Commons.

this open letter I am proposing the idea that the region known as
"State of Jefferson" becomes a "District of Resource". I believe our
region is truly "the last stand" where people will finally come
together to champion Planet Earth and Mother Nature. In the center of
this region is Jackson and Josephine Counties, where 90% of the world's
non GMO beet and chard seeds and 50% of the world's non GMO food seeds
are grown. This is why the Rogue Valley is Ground Zero in the battle
for seed sovereignty, food security and community and individual
rights. The groundwork has been laid to make this the perfect home to a
new kind of leadership.
"Jefferson" (which is roughly delineated as Redding to the south, Roseburg to the north, the eastern California and Oregon borders to the east, and the Pacific Ocean coast of Northern California and Southern Oregon to the west) makes more sense now than any other time in the past. Instead of ambitions to secede from the Union, I am promoting the idea of abandoning the struggles of rehashing the past and add something brand new to the Constitution.

As
Washington D.C. is a center for government and politics, creating
a District of Resource in our Western region would be a center for job
generation and resource stewardship that could put our country back on
track. Because our region has the remaining untouched and protected
Old Growth Forests, the Siskiyou Monument known for its miraculous
bio-diversity, vast watersheds, huge resource reserves, gold mining and
other features that need to be stewarded for the good of our Country, it
seems the very best place to honor and build environmental protections
and healthier living standards and to incubate a new economy, new
beliefs and hopes for an economic revival that works in concert with and
with respect for Nature and natural systems.
Washington D.C. is the location for politics and government, and our region, as a District of Resource, could become the center for stewardship of natural resources with focus on creating jobs that are in concert with nature and projects that reclaim the commons and prevent further exploitation and waste of America's natural resources and dependence on fossil fuels. Adding to the U.S. Constitution for this problem-solving concept with help us heal many rifts and move forward with new courage, resolve and tools for action, as opposed to get bogged down in disagreements, divisions and potentially a civil war.

Benton County on SB 863
The state of Oregon pulled a fast one on the people, and the Feds are in the process of pulling the same stunt on the states. We, the people of Jefferson, should concur with the sentiment expressed by our compatriots in the Williamette Valley.

[Jefferson] secession: Realistic hope or ‘illusion’?
New push to fuse Northern California, Southern Oregon into a state of Jefferson stirs little interest here
By Damian Mann / Mail Tribune
September 08, 2013 2:00 AM
Supporters of a TEA Party-inspired effort [ ~62 min video (Preview) ] to secede from California encourage Jackson County to rally behind the creation of the State of Jefferson. "Now the northern part of California and the southern part of Oregon have a chance of making history," said Mark Baird, who owns a radio station in Yreka and has spearheaded the secessionist movement.
Growing
discontent over California regulations prompted the Siskiyou County
Board of Supervisors in a 4-to-1 vote last week to support the
secessionist movement. The lone vote in opposition was cast by board
Chairman Ed Valenzuela. He said he took an oath to uphold the state
constitution and was elected to solve problems within the existing
system. Siskiyou supervisors hope other rural, conservative Northern
California counties will join them. They say they're being ignored by
Sacramento legislators while being saddled with excessive regulations.
Modoc County supervisors are scheduled to vote on the issue on Sept. 24. Both the California Legislature and Congress would have to sign off on any secession effort.
"This
isn't going to be easy," Baird said. "It's a long shot, but it's not a
joke to us." Baird got the idea when he heard former California
Assemblyman Stan Statham speak at a recent TEA Party meeting. Statham's
ideas fired up Baird and within a month the movement spread, and the
Siskiyou supervisors cast their vote. Statham has proposed carving
California up into three states. The secession idea has since gained
national attention and points to a growing rural/urban divide.
In
2011, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors in Southern California
hosted a statewide summit to discuss having 13 counties secede from
eastern California to form "South California."
Southern
Oregon and Northern California have long been known somewhat
whimsically as the state of Jefferson, a reference to a movement in 1941
that gained steam until the start of World War II. Since then, the
state of Jefferson has been mostly a state of mind. Baird said Southern
Oregon and Northern California share a common interest in logging, ranching and a feeling that lawmakers are standing in the way of creating more vibrant economies.
"That's why we belong together," Baird said. He hopes to get support
from 11 or 12 California counties, from Del Norte on the north coast
down to Yuba above Sacramento.
The economics of creating a new state
have been one of the main stumbling blocks, he acknowledged. Most of
the counties have small populations, a tiny tax base and little
industry. Baird said the idea faces significant challenges, and he hopes
to find a university that will devise an economic study on the
feasibility of secession. He said the counties hope to create a more
business-friendly environment than currently exists in California to
overcome their financial woes.
Jackson
County commissioners say there has been no groundswell of support for
secession locally. Commissioner Don Skundrick said he's only received
one comment from a local resident favoring secession. He said he
empathizes with the frustrations expressed by folks in Siskiyou County. "I don't mind tilting at windmills, but the reality is it's never going to happen," he said. Jackson County has met significant resistance from Salem over the years, but Skundrick said this area has a can-do attitude, though the economic malaise is beginning to chip away at it. "We don't wait for Salem to get things done," he said.
Going forward, Skundrick said rural parts of the state need to pick
their battles and work with metropolitan areas to solve problems. "If we would stop spitting in the wind and work with moderates, we should just try to chip away at things as best we can," he said.
Commissioner
John Rachor said many of the concerns and problems plaguing Northern
California counties are similar to those locally, including discontent
over policies set in urban seats of power. "Everywhere but the
Willamette Valley is upset with the Willamette Valley," Rachor said. "We
all feel the Willamette Valley is calling the shots."
Commissioner
Doug Breidenthal, who courted the tea party during his campaign, said
he's sympathetic to Northern California counties. "It personifies the
disconnect between the urban portions of the state and the rural
portions of the state," he said. Breidenthal said Jackson and other
rural counties have demanded more local control, particularly over
management of local resources. Even though he doesn't see much local
support for secession, Breidenthal wouldn't rule out the possibility it
could gain significant traction. "I would never want to predict the
future," he said.
In Yreka, which
was once proposed as the capital of the state of Jefferson, the
reactions to the secession movement are mostly favorable, though many
residents have questions about the economics. Drake Davis, owner of
Don's Sporting Goods, said he supports the secession idea up to a point,
but wonders how his county can sustain itself if detached from California. “With
only 45,000 people in Siskiyou County, there's not much of a tax base
and not much industry,” he said. On the other hand, the county is
largely ignored by the huge population centers to the south, Davis said.
"Northern California is abused by Southern California and the Bay
Area," he said. "It would be nice to have more control over what's going
on in this area."
Siskiyou
County Supervisor Marcia Armstrong said regulations from both the state
and federal levels have strangled the local economy, and it's time for
the county to fight back. A county once home to more than 50 mills now
has two veneer plants, she said. Unemployment balloons up to 18 percent
during the winter, she said. "We want to change from being a dependent
county to one that is self-sufficient," she said. Armstrong said locals
have many gripes about how the county is treated by Sacramento. Local
residents are fuming over a fire protection fee of more than $100 a
property that is sent to the state each year. She cites the
"militarization of fish and game" officials, who she said roll into the
county and scare local residents with their guns and other threatening
tactics. "It's not a friendly atmosphere," Armstrong said. The state
largely has left her county out of the ongoing debate over Klamath Basin
water issues, even though three dams are within its boundaries, she
said.
Harvesting
timber also is a big concern locally. Mark Crawford, a 66-year-old
logging company owner in Siskiyou County, said his area has received a
lot of regulations and little help from the state. "It's big money
interests in Sacramento pulling the strings," he said. Crawford said it
can take six months or longer to get a permit to harvest timber, noting
the same permit in Oregon usually takes about a month. The secession
movement will succeed or fail depending on how seriously people in
Northern California counties take it, he said. "If nothing else, it
should get Sacramento's attention," Crawford said.

The Text of the Resoution
RE: A
Resolution for the withdrawal of Siskiyou County from the State of
California.
WHEREAS, there
are times in our history, when it is apparent that the political
separation of one people from another becomes necessary, both for the
survival of the one, as well as, the continued well being of the
other.
WHEREAS,
the Siskiyou Board of Supervisors recognizes the lack of
representation for rural and frontier counties in the California
Legislature and the Board is aware of an increasing tendency by the
State of California to exercise legislative and fiscal malfeasance in
the form of illegal fire tax, property rights violations, assaults
upon Second Amendment rights, as well as, disregard for other
unalienable Rights of the Citizens of Siskiyou.
WHEREAS,
Agencies of the Executive Branch of the State of California are
engaged in an attempt to remove four, fully functional, well
maintained, hydroelectric dams on the Klamath River over the
objections of the Board of Supervisors and those of a vast majority
of the Citizens of
Siskiyou County.
WHEREAS,
State and Federal Agencies through the process commonly known as,
“Sue and Settle,” have denied the County of Siskiyou, its
businesses, and citizens, access to our most abundant natural
resources, causing untold harm to our economy, as well as to our
health and public safety.
WHEREAS, the
Board of Supervisors for the County of Siskiyou, have come to the
realization that the State of California is ungovernable in its
present form.
IT SHALL THEREFORE BE
RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors for
Siskiyou County, would endeavor to make a “New Start.” This Board
desires, with the involvement of our citizens, and hopefully, with
the involvement of other Counties within rural California, to
withdraw Siskiyou County from the State of California. This Board
would “Start over,” by helping to form a “New State,” which
represents the needs, provides opportunity, protects the rights,
liberties, public health, and safety of the people of the new State
of Jefferson.

Geo-Engineering
It has been a while since there was much to say - so now, there is time to speak. I traveled to Yreka last night to hear Dane Wiggington speak to a Tea Party gathering. There were close to 100 people in the room as Dane brought us all up to speed on the disaster that is called Chemtrails. Dane was featured in Michael Murphy's second film on the topic - Why in the World are They Spraying? There whole idea of placing chemicals in the air to stop global warming is an insane notion that must be stopped.
Dane documented the history of climate change through geo-engineering - a misplaced form of science that is attempting to lower the albedo of the earth - the amount of reflected energy from the surface. He showed slides in rapid fashion, commenting on the works of other folks to document the effects. I sat with Francis Mangels, the former USFS scientist who has collected the Mt. Shasta data on high levels of Barium, Strontium and Aluminum. These inorganic ions are showing up in the water analyses of fresh snow. Dane also attempted to show how the weather reports are not telling the truth about the extent of weather damage being done by these mechanisms. The ozone hole and the Arctic ice melt are directly correlated with what we already know - that the sprays from the jets are not natural.
Water vapor requires certain conditions to form clouds in the atmosphere - the dew point and the temperatures tend to keep the water transparent. Having a point of nucleation allows water grouping to hold more mass - thus we see the diffusion of persistent clouds over the course of the day. Dane showed photos of spray from jets that were obviously not commercial airliners on normal flights. He also told of confrontations with the geo-engineering scientists that demonstrated the lack of understanding about the toxicity of the effects. He mentioned a David Keith as an adamant supporter of disaster capitalism - the making of money at the expense of all life. The Monsanity of the world from an alcoa point of view was apparent.
A major problem has to do with the grasp of understanding. Scientists are generally people who have a specific agenda focus from the viewpoint of their own field. The depth of knowledge of peripheral areas required to do good work is beyond the capacity of many of those folks in academics - they tend to believe each other to be experts in their own fields and fail to do their own homework. Myth trumps facts when logic is not applied to comprehension. We would do well to challenge all assumptions in every field of knowledge - to prove what we think we know.
Rather than rant on - i will send you to Dane's site - http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/ . The information is extensive - but the folks who can address the situation have their fingers in their ears and are screaming loudly. They seem to change the setting of the bar when we achieve the current burden of proof. The time has come for local autonomy - if we want to spray ourselves locally, that should be decided locally. I for one wish the spraying to go away - it is a crime against nature.

Follow Up - Pond Water
The water issue with Gary Harrington and Dominic Notter has heated up again. After reading this article, continue on and read the 131 comments - there is definitely some context to this issue that needs to be explored in depth. Doc will likely run his Water Course again in January at nweti.com . Enjoy the read.

Revitalization
This post is to start up an effort in the background to begin the wheels rolling on a Jeffersonian adventure. The developments of the present day have made Statehood take on a new meaning - the State of Jefferson as in the state of Israel - complete sovereignty and foreign aid from the US grubbermint. As i have been travelling, i pass the dragon in Yreka and see the barn and know, that this is the time to start vesting interest within the idea of autonomy.

Sovereignty
Welcome to the State of Jefferson. The next state to the south is the state of confusion, to the north is state of the Art. Altered states are to the east, while the Pacifist Ocean resides on the western front. We have a big barn, a sacred cow and a large dragon watching over the land, on I-5 near Weed. It's the time and the season for ...
There seems to be a problem with sovereignty. The clarity is offered here by Will Grigg. It seems that criminal capture of the protection system has created a place where there is no highway after the my way. The police are an armed force and the 2nd amendment is a very inadequate protection. A gun is a protection measure - carries a lot more weight than the constitution, which is paper. The pen is mightier than the sword, bullets hurt.
What does it mean to be sovereign? To me - i follow natural law, not arbitrary law as defined by liars. If the fedgov cannot follow their own rules and enforce themselves, then who are they to enforce me to do anything. Ignorance is no excuse - their laws make no sense and would be considered micro-management in any business climate. Or extortion. Or lunacy. You decide.
What can you, a sovereign individual do? First - read the Sovereign - A newspaper of resistance at TheSovNews.com . Second - confirm all 'facts' with knowledge that comes from a different source - preferably both sources outside your tight knit little group. Third - change your tight knit little group into a loose spun big group, with concrete goals for future survival. Fourth - learn some urban survival tactics - like the workshop in Reno on Oct 13/14 to develop focus on personal needs for seniors if the grid goes down. Hey - not just seniors. Fifth - have a plan and keep dreaming,
Become your own state of mind, then expand your periphery. Change your own house and leave other houses to change at the whim of their owners. Negotiate a compromise with your family and friends and love them dearly as you do what you need to do and not what they tell you you have to do. Value your time and your personal energy and keep them available for when you have something to do that requires time and energy. You can offer them to friends, but on terms that advance the community and are not a cost to the individual.
Today's post is here, because doc like to keep the zone off beat and the comic at the top of the page needs to be there at the top of the page. Jefferson needs to develop a few real communities to try things that might not work on a scale that if they don't work, our backs are still covered. The drought means that here, physically, we have been over 90 since mid July almost every day and it is past the equinox - we are pushing 100 in mid-afternoon,

The State of Jackson County
from Kevin:
Meanwhile, the Jackson County Sheriff and Board of Commissioners allowed the unlawful arrest of Gary Harrington, against natural rights to live.
Please watch this presentation for a global audience to better understand the embarrassment I feel for being a Jackson County property tax payer:http://www.naturalnews.com/037040_rainwater_collection_criminalization_video.html
Where is the tangible evidence of sovereignty in Jackson County? I have yet to see it, while Salem tightens its grip around our necks.

Supreme Court Decision: We Warned Against Roberts in 2005
Boulder, CO - The America First Party is not surprised by Justice John
Roberts' decision in the Obamacare lawsuits. After all, the Party warned
Americans about how dangerous Roberts was way back in 2005 when President
Bush nominated him for the position. With this latest disastrous betrayal of
the Constitution by Justice Roberts, the Bush II Presidency has once again
shown itself to be the gift that just keeps on giving.
Roberts had a track record of trampling on property rights, the rights of
innocent and helpless babies, and basic principles of fairness and justice
before he ascended to the High Court. In two press releases, the AFP called
the public's attention in 2005 to his penchant for stealing private property
by government force, countenancing abortion which takes an innocent life,
confiscating private funds to pay for unconstitutional government programs,
and ripping off torture victims -- including American war veterans -- of
their monetary awards for damages against the government of Iraq.
Former National Chairman Dan Charles said at the time: "President Bush had
promised the American people that he would nominate a constitutionalist
Supreme Court Justice in the mold of Justices Scalia or Thomas. Many
conservatives held their noses and voted for the President only because they
believed that promise. When he nominated Judge Roberts to replace retiring
Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, President Bush broke that promise."
Now in this, one of the most devastating strikes against Constitutional
liberties in the last half century, Roberts provides the crucial vote to
uphold the so-called "health care mandate" under the taxing powers of the
Federal Government. The notion, that a penalty is really just a tax, is
ludicrous on its face, but now opens a pandora's box of regulations and
prohibitions and mandates masquerading as new "taxes."
National Secretary John Pittman Hey stated: "There is no limit, under
Roberts' reasoning, to the vexatious rules and onerous mandates that the
Federal Government can squeeze past the Constitution. Any regulation, no
matter how far afield from proper constitutional governance, no matter how
great an insult to the sharp limits on federal power enshrined in the
Constitution, will now be fair game."
Mr. Hey concluded: "Justice Roberts' violation of his oath to uphold the
Constitution is proof once again that Republicans cannot be counted on to
nominate qualified, decent, Constitutionalists to the High Court. This
betrayal tears away the last excuse that Republican hacks have always used
to coerce patriots into pulling the lever for the Republican nominee. The
bitter lesson learned is this: keep voting for Republicans, and expect to
continue to have your rights stripped away by their judges."

promised the American people that he would nominate a constitutionalist

They can only do this if we allow it
If you live here in Jefferson, you understand the problems with local grubbermint. Here is an update on Jackson County, Oregon. The only way to unrecognize this behavior is to withdraw consent - Jefferson should recognizen independent sovereignty.

Feral Pigs
Only if you redefine the word feral. This video tells us that there may not be a resolution with-in the system, but the folks in the film certainly believe that the law will protect them. Why?
